Red Mary Jane Heels

Outfit aesthetic: Dark feminine, Vintage

Mary Jane heels in glossy burgundy with a square toe, a chunky block heel, and an adjustable bow strap across the foot. The strap is the reason these stay on while you walk, which a plain pump never manages.

Why You'll Love It

• Strap keeps them on. The bow strap adjusts and holds the foot in place, so there is no gripping with your toes to stop the shoe slipping.
• Block heel, not a stiletto. The wide heel spreads the weight, which is the difference between standing for an hour and standing for four.
• Square toe reads current. A pointed toe dates a shoe; the square shape keeps these in the vintage-modern middle.
• Burgundy over black. Deep red goes with black, cream, denim, and grey the way black does, but photographs with more depth.
• Sizes 35 to 40, listed in inches. Foot length 8.9 to 9.8 in per size below. Size up if you plan to wear tights or socks.
